During my work flow you will get work in progresses, however the amount depends on the type:
Sketch - one wip (messy sketch).
Clean lineart + flat color - one wip (messy sketch).
Cell shaded - two wips (messy sketch, flat colored).
Full shaded - three wips(messy sketch, colored, a bit shaded).
